I am Sofia, a deep internet surfer since many years and have a very deep interest in creation , marketing of websites. During my struggling period of setting up websites and marketing them, I found it very difficult to market my websites or find someone on a small scale to market my websites.

Creation of websites is easy but the most difficult part is how do you market your website or send your website to tens of thousands of people.
There are many websites on internet which promise to send traffic to your website for ten or twenty dollars. I tried all of them. But no use.

These are the steps which I found are succesful.

1. Youtube videos
Create youtube videos and put the link of your website on the right hand side.
These are genuine visitors who are interested in your website.
2. Blogs
Writing blogs with 150 to 200 words and taking the reader into the subject and then providing the reference to your website or providing links to different pages of your website definetely brings visitors to your websites.

3. SEO technique
The other useful technique is bringing your website to the top of google for certain keywords. So, when users search for certain keywords, your website is seen in the first few lines of the search.
4. Forums
Another technique to bring visitors to your website is interacting in related forums. This should not be like advertising your website but truly interacting with them.
5. Banner exchange
You can exchange advertisements with other websites..i.e, your website displays advertisements of other websites and other websites display your advertisements . So, both of you exchange traffic.
6. Link exchange
You exchange links with other websites , thereby raising your alexa rank or rank in google.
7. Google adwords
If you want to put money into marketing , google adwords is also a technique but you should risk losing money when compared to the profit you are getting when a visitor visits you.
8. Advertising through google adsense, clicksor, adbrite
If you are working on a large scale , that is , if your company is a big one and are ready to invest sufficient amount of money in marketing , then advertising through google adsense, clicksor, adbrite can bring you visitors , even though a few second scanners.
